Each member of our management team lives and works with us on a daily basis. We are locally owned and operated and are flexible enough to take care of almost any patient/client situation that may arise. Below is a list of our key management team members.
Board of Directors
Jerry currently resides in Santa Barbara where he was born and raised. He was the Director of Rehabilitation at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital for 10 years prior to starting Central Coast Home Health. He has been a physical therapist for almost 20 years. He holds a Doctorate from Boston University.
Luis lives in San Luis Obispo with his two children. He is an Occupational Therapist with 6 years of home health management experience and is currently the Administrator of CCHH, Inc. He attended Cal Poly and graduated from the San Jose State OT program and the University of LaVerne with a Masters in Health Administration.
Brian lives in Santa Margarita with his wife and son. Brian is a PT assistant and entrepreneur who transitioned from a successful non emergency transportation business. He is originally from Virginia and attended George Mason University. He has lived on the Central Coast since 1996.
Dr. Jeffrey Bourne
Dr. Jeffrey Bourne, DO, CMD, became a board-certified Internal Medicine specialist upon completing his residency at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. After beginning his medical practice on the California’s Central Coast, he quickly realized the standard “brick-and-mortar” physician model was not for him. Dr. Bourne now focuses exclusively on caring for home bound, elderly patients. Instead of seeing his patients in a typical doctor’s office, he visits them where they live; in their homes, board & care residences, and skilled or long-term nursing facilities.
Dr. Steven J. Sainsbury
Dr. Sainsbury provides a unique type of primary care practice for his patients in San Luis Obispo county. While maintaining a home office for record keeping, he sees all patients in their homes in a true “house call” practice. He also teaches classes at Cal Poly University, serves as one of the team physicians for the Cal Poly football team, has testified as an expert witness in a variety of cases, and has published over a hundred consumer-oriented medical articles.
